Project title: Automating knowledge extraction from large dermatopathological datasets to establish objective and interpretable diagnostic frameworks
Project summary: The AUTODIAL project will use computational methods to transform how we understand, organize, and interact with vast amounts of scientific and medical data, focusing on dermatopathology—as an exemplary field critical for diagnosing skin diseases.
AI-driven solutions will be developed to structure unorganized data, create open knowledge graphs from scientific literature, and bridge gaps in diagnostic uncertainty, as well as pave new ways for medical professionals to interact with large-scale medical imaging data.
