The Applied AI-research in Dermatology focuses on the development, research and clinical evaluation of innovative AI methods to improve dermatological care.
Our mission is to use interdisciplinary research to tap into and further develop the potential of artificial intelligence in dermatology in a scientifically sound manner by combining state-of-the-art technology with medical excellence.
We are committed to researching innovative AI-supported diagnostic and prognostic procedures that can detect various dermatological diseases earlier, classify them more precisely and treat them more individually. Our interdisciplinary team is working on pioneering solutions that set international standards and change everyday clinical practice in the long term.
We place particular emphasis on transparency, clinical validation, ethical responsibility and the sustainable integration of AI technologies into evidence-based medical processes.
