Primary Cutaneous B Cell Lymphoma

Primary Cutaneous B Cell Lymphoma

Primary cutaneous B cell lymphoma are a rare form of non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Together with Constanze Jonak (MUV, head of the lymphoma outpatient clinic) and Patrick M. Brunner (now at Mount Sinai, New York), we performed the first large-scale single-cell RNA-sequencing characterisation of these entities. There, we found that the two indolent subtypes of primary cutaneous B cell lymphoma may actually represent persistent antigen-directed reactions.

Based on this finding, we are extending our analyses to test why these reactions exist and whether we could derive more targeted treatments of these rare diseases.
